Vision Statement: The Plymouth-Canton Cruisers are united in our commitment to be a continually growing, championship program, providing the atmosphere in which to develop the finest athletes and leaders.

Mission Statement: The Plymouth-Canton Cruisers empower each of our athletes to achieve success by inspiring courage, instilling discipline, and promoting team unity.  It is expected that our athletes, coaches, and parents are dedicated to the fulfillment of these core values. 

Cruiser Updates:

• 2008-09 Short Course Registration:    A sample schedule for the short course season is now available on the Registration Page.  Swimmers on waitlist will be contacted late summer once openings are determined based on current swimmer registration.

   

• Congratulations Cruisers: PCC placed 7th overall at this past weekend's Long Course State Meet.  This is our club's highest place to date!  Congratulations to the following State Champions: Noah Santer (13-14 Boys 800 Freestyle), Eric Li (11-12 Boys 400 IM 100 Freesyle, and 50 Freestyle), and Lisa Zhang (10 and Under Girls 50 Breast, 100 Breast, and 200 IM). Lisa Zhang was 2nd in the 10 and Under Girls High Point and Eric Li was 3rd in the 11-12 Boys High Point. State Meet Results are now available on the meet page. 

   

• Support a business that support the Cruisers:  Maggie Moos has been nominated for the best ice cream store in Detroit!  Show your support by voting for them at  www.clickondetroit.com.
   

• Long Course Top Times as of 8-04-08 are now available on the Records Page.
     

• The PCC Board is looking for one or more volunteers to participate in coordinating a team-wide picnic/party scheduled for September 12 at the Plymouth Township (McClumpha) Park.  The park has already been reserved but we just need a volunteer to plan a few activities and get info out to families.  Anyone interested can contact Scott Kemp to get more information. 
   

• As you may have noticed in the last newsletter, we are going to try to facilitate Cruiser Carpooling.  If you are interested in finding someone to carpool with please send your email, practice group and major cross streets to the webmaster and we will post your request.  Interested carpoolers will be listed on the "Links & Info" page.
